e-GLO, Earth Charter Global Learning Opportunity, is a semester-long, online leadership course inspired by the Earth Charter. The current course, e-GLO 2, is called ‘Earth Charter Guiding Leaders Towards Sustainability Action’.
This leadership course started in September 2009 and will have its grand finale on Saturday, January 30th 2010. This special world wide event will be open for everyone! You are welcome to join us!
This multimedia, online event will feature:
- A brief introduction to e-GLO
- Guest Speakers
- Live interactive discussions
- Participant’s commentary on their work and the course
- Presentation of certificates
Join us to:

- Meet e-GLO Alumni from around the world
- Make connections with people making a difference around the world
Participants are inspiring young people from more than 20 different countries, engaged in local grassroots projects and global initiatives.
To join us, click here at 5.00 pm GMT on Saturday Jan 30th and click on “Enter as a guest.” No password is required! Just type your name, organization, and country. Then wait to be accepted into the room.
Note that it is better to have a cable internet connection than wireless when connecting to the online seminar room.

Wow, finally we are coming to the end of this great learning session. I was sad that i was unable to attend or participate in some of the sessions, but right now, it seems i would feel more bad because its coming to an end. I really enjoyed meeting great people from around the globe, coming together with one vision, working like one family with one mind and focus. I also appreciate the effort Mike and Jaana made towards achieving this goal of bringing us together to discuss issues affecting us and on how to make Earth Charter grow to a greater height. Thanks for your efforts. Also for the special guest, Esther Agbarakwe, professor Juergen Carls, i honour you all for your inspiring talks, and directions. My question is, are we going to have another learning session soon? Please if yes, i would like to be part of it. Meet you all on saturday!

Finally it has ended but i kept wondering when i would meet this wonderful and great people cum family again. Earth Charter can only grow if we can implement all we have learnt into service. Dear family, lets work it out and Earth Charter community will become our pride. Dreaming of a new era, (the growth of Earth Charter), and how can we actualize that, only with "empathy" and mutual service. "Lets keep the ball rolling, and moreover, try to score even when the goal post is tiny with 4 goal keepers, i believe there must be a little space, utilize that space and become victorious. See you soon my family in the next E-GLO learning session.Take care my family.
