Youth Group in Ukraine promotes the Earth Charter

"On the 15th of May 2010 the Earth Charter
Youth Group in Ukraine had a discussion
club with students, adults and foreigners in Lugansk, Ukraine, at the National Regional Library named after Gorky. The topics of the discussion and represented ideas were Education in Ukraine, Earth Charter Initiative, Activities and 1GOAL.
ECYG in Ukraine printed materials for the discussion club and schools to spread around. We discussed about the education and planned activities in those areas in which people were most interested. We took a picture together and all of us signed the Education for All - 1GOAL campaign.
We also distributed the principles of the Earth Charter and other EC related materials. The most interesting and useful thing for students was the Earth Charter Youth Toolkit, where they found many new and inspiring ways of participation and creative ideas.
Soon, in our next meetings we will be having
an Earth Charter presentation among students
and school children, and we will also distribute
brochures."
