1%CLUB is the online marketplace that connects people with smart ideas in developing countries with people, money and knowledge around the world.
We are talking about sustainable projects that stimulate the self-reliance of individuals anywhere in the world and improve their standard of living.
To achieve this, we need three things: a little bit of your knowledge, money or time. You choose how, when and how much you want to participate. The people that run the projects that you are involved in keep you informed on the progress. It is that simple.
Earth Charter Action Project Platform
1%CLUB partners with the Earth Charter International and has created an Earth Charter Action Project Platform where Earth Charter inspired projects can seek for support. Several Earth Charter Youth Groups have already taken this opportunity and sent their project proposals to 1%CLUB. You can see and support them here.
One of the project presenters is Godfred Nana Asiedu Opoku, Earth Charter Youth Group coordinator from Ghana. The project is called “Strengthening Youth leadership in Kumasi, Ghana”. The aim of the project is to strengthen youth leadership on sustainable development using the Earth Charter as a tool for change.
This project has received already 2060 euros out of needed 3700 euros. Godfred tells that he has been advertising his project to all of his friends and contacts abroad. This is highly encouraged form of activity!

Youths are the future leaders. the system should start now, they need to be involved in leadership! By youth involvement, we are already building the future. We have to allow that young people take responsibility.
