Religion and Spirituality

Over the years a number of religions and spiritual groups have been involved in the Earth Charter Initiative in many ways.

Religious and interfaith groups, as well as individuals, institutions, and organizations concerned with religion, spirituality, ethics, and sustainability are encouraged to use the Earth Charter as a basis for discussions within groups and as an interfaith dialogue tool. This can be done as part of their efforts toward creating a just, peaceful, and sustainable future for the Earth Community.
