Roots & Shoots is the Jane Goodall Institute's international environmental and humanitarian program for young people. The link above is to 'Lessons for Hope', which is a web-based project written by the Jane Goodall Institute. High school students can learn about Dr. Jane Goodall's extraordinary life story, with the goal of examining their own lives and their communities. The course activities are designed to give students an opportunity to apply these life lessons in order to empower them to make a positive contribution in the world. The project covers 12 Lessons for Hope and include activities for teachers and studnets. One of the student activities refers directly to the Earth Charter.
