As representatives of Armenian Youth, we acknowledge the priority of Sustainable Development principles, but at the same time, we comprehend that the road to its establishment is not smooth at all and that we will face dozens of complications. Nowadays, the problems that exist worldwide are interconnected. The need for cooperation is conditioned by peculiarities and interconnectedness of the problems at local, regional and global levels. Mission
Introducing youth to the principles of Earth Charter.

Activities and Interests
1. Meetings and conferences: arranging and taking part in local, regional and international conferences and meetings, dedicated to questions linked to sustainable development problems, ecology, and the social-economic sphere.
2. Propagation: propagation of the ideas of Sustainable Human Development among the population of Armenia, promoting the foundation and improvement of ecological education (both in schools and universities), raising the ecological consciousness of the population.

Partners
In June 2001, the Sustainable Human Development Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UNEP/ROE in order to become a national UNEPCOM. According to Memorandum, signed with the Earth Council in September 2001, the association was granted the status of South Caucasian Regional Center for Sustainable Development.
For implementation of this project there has been organized an electronic list-server to disseminate information on sustainable development.

In June 2004, the Association received “NGO status, associated to UN DPI.”

In March 2005, the Association was accredited to the Governing Council of UNEP.

In July 2006, the Association received the Special Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC.

Additionally, we have partnerships with: EcoForum-Kiev,UNEP,TUNZA,YESEC, FYCA, AEISEC, FYEG, CDNEE, YEE.
